Beren Zint (he/him) was born in Weilheim in Oberbayern in 2006, but grew up in Berlin-Kreuzberg from birth. His life's journey led him to different stages at an early age — first in sports: He played professional basketball for eight years, including one and a half years in the Bundesliga for the Berlin Tiger.
Beren gained his first camera experience in 2018 at a young age in Detlev Buck's film Asphaltgorillas.
Starting November 14, Beren will appear in the new ARD series STABIL, directed by Teresa Fritzi Hoerl and Sinje Köhler, in the role of "Frederik" or "Fresse" – a teenager struggling with inner conflicts and psychological challenges in a youth psychiatric ward. The series sensitively addresses the topic of mental health in young people and celebrated its world premiere at the Munich Film Festival in 2025.
The industry magazine Spot Media wrote about Berens's performance: "Beren Zint has an impressive, intimidating presence in the role."
With this intense performance, Beren Zint underscores his intuitive talent and his ability to embody emotionally challenging characters with depth and authenticity.
