UJESH BUCHELE (pronouns: he/him) grew up in Frankfurt am Main. He began playing the drums at the age of five, and by the time he was eight, he was a member of his first band. Around the same time, he discovered his passion for the performing arts in his elementary school’s theater club. These early experiences on stage expanded when, at the age of fourteen, he participated in the Schauspiel Frankfurt youth project. For Ujesh, the theater was not only a creative space but also a political arena where one can take a stand. He felt welcome and accepted there just as he is, which solidified his dream of a career in acting at an early age.
A significant milestone in his young career was the invitation of the play ERSTE LETZTE MENSCHEN by the Schauspiel Frankfurt ensemble to the “Theatertreffen der Jugend” in 2018. Four years later, in 2022, he appeared on stage for the first time alongside professional actors in Darmstadt, directed by Volker Schmidt. That same year, he also gained his first film experience in the short film AUF DEN KANTEN DER TAGE by Caspar Hahnemanns.
In 2025, Ujesh appeared in the feature film STROMBERG – WIEDER ALLES WIE IMMER, directed by Arne Feldhusen.
Seit 2026 spielt er in DAS SCHLOSS (Regie: Jules Head) am Berliner Ensemble und übernimmt 2027 seine erste Kino-Hauptrolle. Bis 2027 studiert Ujesh an der renommierten Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch, wo er seine Fähigkeiten weiter vertieft und ausbaut.
In addition to his acting career, he is also active in music. With his band “Cassiopeia,” he regularly releases new music, sings, and plays the drums.
