DANIIL KREMKIN (he/him) was born in Saransk, Russia, in 1997. He grew up in the small Russian town and attended an English-language high school there, while also attending an art school with a design focus for several years.
In his youth, he competed in figure skating until around the age of 15. At the point when he would have had to decide whether to pursue a professional Olympic career, he made a conscious decision against top-level sport.
At the age of 18, Daniil came to Germany as part of a student exchange program. Without any knowledge of German, he started working in a kindergarten and learned the language through everyday interaction. A few years later, he settled in Berlin and pursued his long-held dream of becoming an actor.
Before beginning his acting studies, Daniil completed a bachelor's degree in psychology and psychotherapy at the Free University of Berlin, specializing in clinical psychology. At the same time, he worked for several years in a therapeutic environment, including therapeutic residential groups and day clinics with severely traumatized adolescents and adults.
He began his acting training in 2022 at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf, which he will complete in 2026. Prior to that, he gained his first stage experience at the Saransk State Theater, where he performed for over two years in his hometown.
He became known to a wider audience through his portrayal of architect and engineer "Max Jordan," one of the leading roles in the ARD event miniseries SCHWARZES GOLD (Black Gold), directed by Nina Wolfrum and Tim Trachte.
One of his most important artistic works is the feature film INTERIOR, in which he played one of the leading roles. The film celebrated its world premiere in 2025 at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (PÖFF), where it won the Audience Award, and will be released in German cinemas in 2026.Kinos.
Daniil speaks German, English, and Russian at a native level, as well as fluent Flemish. In addition to his acting work, he has impressive physical abilities, including gymnastics and acrobatics.
