Roxana Samadi (she/her) was born in 2001 in Cologne and has been working as an actress since her youth. At the age of 13, she made her debut as a voice actress, lending her voice to the cat Findus in the three successful feature films PETTERSSON UND FINDUS (directed by Ali Samadi Ahadi).
Einem breiten Publikum wurde sie durch ihre eindrucksvolle Darstellung der „Rasaq“ in zwei Staffeln der mit dem Deutschen Fernsehpreis ausgezeichneten Serie PARA – WIR SIND KING (Regie: Özgür Yildirim) bekannt. 2023 stand sie für den TATORT – PYRAMIDE (Regie: Charlotte Rolfes) sowie für MORDSCHWESTERN – DAS CHAMÄLEON vor der Kamera. Zum Jahreswechsel 2024/25 nahm sie die Synchronaufnahmen für den Hörspiel-Podcast 1001 NACHT mit dem Deutschlandfunk auf, welcher seit dem 28.02.2025 verfügbar ist.
Roxana has a deep passion for filmmaking and a strong interest in social issues. As the daughter of an Iranian family, she is committed to giving a voice to German-Iranians living in the diaspora. In 2024, she won the Audience Award at FILMFEST HAMBURG for her directorial work FREIHEIT IM HERZEN.
