LADINA VON FRISCHING (she/her) was born in Lucerne in 1994. Her first stage was the sports field: as a competitive golfer, she played at an international level until she was 20 and attended a sports school. But the idea of pursuing the same career for the rest of her life never left her—and ultimately led her to acting.
After a spontaneous audition at a drama school in Zurich, she realized her true calling. This was followed by three years of training (2015–2018) with a focus on film and theater. Shortly thereafter, she appeared in the award-winning short film AYANEH and took on a role in the feature film iCARUS.
In 2024, she played the female lead in the dffb graduation film UNGEDULD DES HERZENS (directed by Lauro Cress), which will be released in theaters on January 29, 2026. After the first meeting, it was clear that she would embody the central character of the film—a decision that paid off: in 2025, Ladina von Frisching was awarded the "Götz George Young Talent Award" at the First Steps Award and the Max Ophüls Prize for "Best Young Actress."
She speaks fluent High German and Swiss German, has a basic knowledge of Italian, holds a motorboat license, and has experience in ballet, jazz dance, and skiing.
