I learn a lot from the strengths and weaknesses of my roles and dig into topics that I would never have encountered otherwise. The challenge of personifying people authentically and, in the best case scenario, bringing socially relevant issues to the audience and illuminating them critically, is what excites me. Photography also feeds my joy of observation, which is existential for acting. Meeting people, their lives and cultures with open eyes not only broadens my horizons, but also enriches my acting and creates a connection between the viewer and the people in my photos.

About

JENNIFER ULRICH first appeared in front of the camera at the age of 16 for the film drama GROSSE MÄDCHEN WEINEN NICHT by Maria von Heland. In successful projects such as ELEMENTARTEILCHEN, DIE WOLKE, DIE WELLE and DIGNITY, Ulrich played autonomous women who are aware of their independence or at least strive for it. In addition, the Berliner is involved with the organisation JUNGE HELDEN for organ donation, among others. She spends several weeks a year in her "second home" Rome and demonstrates her Italian language talent in productions such as DRIVE ME HOME. Once a year, the versatile actress travels to exotic countries and captures her impressions of the most diverse people & cultures with her camera. Jennifer has already presented her impressive travel photos in an exhibition entitled ADORE AND ENDURE. This year she can be seen in THE MOPES and WOMEN STORIES - UNSPOKEN.
