Benita Bailey can be seen in the title role of the five-part streaming series DIE PFLEGIONÄRIN (director and screenplay: Judith Bonesky) in the ARD media library as part of the MDR offensive "Mein Schwein pfeift". The format challenges previous viewing habits and takes on a topic of high social relevance: the everyday work of caregivers. The focus of this production is on the bizarre, dramatic, grueling, but also funny everyday adventures of outpatient caregiver Caro Lacher from the Ilm district (Thuringia). Most recently, Benita could be seen on stage again: in DAVOR, a documentary music theater piece in the context of the Munich Biennale, composer Yoav Pasovsky, director Robert Lehniger and set designer Irina Schicketanz ask about the experience of everyday racism. In addition, Benita is an experienced dubbing and audio book speaker, keynote speaker & moderator.
In 2024, Bailey was in front of the camera alongside her son Noah Bailey for the ZDF productions DOPPELHAUSHÄLFTE directed by Rebeca Ofek and ECHT Friends! ECHT FRIENDS! is one of the nominated projects for the Grimme Prize in 2025.
In 2024, Bailey founded the black film production company JABEZA Films with Jane Chirwa and is on the board of the Schwarze Filmschaffende e.V.
